FAQs

What areas do you service?

1.

We are based in Park City and can arrange picnics in Summit, Wasatch, Salt Lake, Utah, and Morgan County. Depending on the location, there may be a travel fee to accommodate your request. Contact us for a full list of our pre-selected destinations to avoid any travel fees.

*If you would like to book in event outside of these counties, please feel free to reach out and we may be able to accommodate your request.

What if I want to set up in a location that is not on your list?

2.

You may prefer a location that isn’t among our pre-selected options. We’re happy to consider your request, though we may be unable to accommodate it due to local restrictions or safety concerns.

Our curated locations were chosen for their appeal—offering scenic views, relative privacy, and convenient proximity to other sites. Please note that all are public spaces, so we cannot guarantee complete privacy or an exact spot; access is on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you’re seeking full privacy, we’d be glad to set up in your backyard, living room, or hotel room instead.

How far in advance do I need to book?

3.

All bookings should be made at least 5 days prior to your preferred event date. If you are trying to book a picnic last minute, we may not be able to accommodate all your requests. Still reach out and we will try to accommodate your booking if possible.

Can we bring our own food and drinks?

4.

Absolutely. For your convenience, we offer Catering and beverage coordination services for an additional fee. You are not required to utilize this service. Contact us for a list of preferred vendors, and feel free to make requests for specific take-out or beverage choices. We will do our best to accommodate your requests.

Can you provide alcoholic beverages?

5.

No, we legally cannot provide any alcoholic beverages. However, we are more than happy to provide you with any mixers or non-alcoholic beverages you’d like. You are not required to purchase any beverages offered and may bring any of your own. *Please note that some locations prohibit the consumption of alcohol.

6.

What is the cancellation policy?

A 40% non-refundable deposit is required to book. Final payment is due 48 hours before your event. You can cancel up to that 48-hour deadline and only the deposit will be charged. Cancellations after final payment receive no refund.

What about in the case of inclement weather?

7.

If conditions are unsafe or impractical to proceed, you’ll be offered a reschedule. Any funds that have already been procured will be applied to your rescheduled event. Rescheduling will be based on availability. If rescheduling isn’t possible and you have made your final payment, you’ll receive a 60% refund; the 40% deposit will be kept.

You may choose to include an indoor backup location with your booking for added flexibility. This must be secured by you, approved by your event coordinator, and submitted no later than 5 days before your event. Your final location will be determined 48 hours prior, when final payment is due'.

What if I want to leave early (before the scheduled end time)?

8.

If you plan to leave your event early, please notify your event coordinator at least 30 minutes in advance so we can arrange timely equipment pickup. As outlined in your booking terms, the site may not be left unattended, and you are solely responsible for any loss or damage during your event.

Please note that no refunds will be issued for unused time if you choose to end your booking early, including any additional time purchased.

What if I’m running late?

9.

We understand that life doesn’t always go as planned. For this reason, we’re happy to hold your booking for 15 minutes from your scheduled start time. Your start time is what was agreed upon and scheduled - not upon arrival

if you have not arrived within this 15‑minute grace period, we regret that we will no longer be able to hold your reservation. At that point, your booking will be considered a no‑show and your setup will be packed down. No refunds will be issued in this case.

This policy exists because our team often needs to leave your setup in order to prepare another picnic for a different client at the next scheduled time. As stated in our booking terms, no site can be left unattended, which means your event coordinator will be on site until your arrival. If you arrive late beyond the grace period, it would cause us to run late for our subsequent appointment, which we must avoid in order to serve all our clients fairly and on time.

If you have any addition questions that were unanswered on this page, please reach out to us at picnic@momentselevatedutah.com, or refer to our terms and conditions page. we’re always happy to help and look forward to assisting you.
